All services show a starting price and can increase based on hair length, texture or additional services rendered. Please consult your technician with further questions.

Hair Service Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment no less than 48 hours prior to your visit to avoid a 50%-100% charge. In the event you No-Show for a scheduled appointment, there will also be a service charge from 50% up to the full service amount. Please be courteous.

Extensions Cancellation Policy

A deposit will be implemented upon booking application of extension services. If cancelled within seven days of your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.

Smoothing Service Cancellation Policy

A deposit will be implemented upon booking Opti-Smooth treatments, Global Keratin treatments, and Kerasilk treatments. If cancelled within 72 hours of your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.

Membership Policy

Memberships follow an auto-renewal model, if you wish to pause indefinitely or terminate at any time you must send request via e-mail to vidovsalonnyc@gmail.com

Hailing from Madrid, Selda Cortes brings over 15 years of experience to Vidov West Salon in NYC. A versatile stylist and makeup artist, she’s worked on editorial shoots, NYFW, and ad campaigns for brands like Mustang Originals. Her work has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Glamour Spain, and more. Known for her expertise in cuts, color corrections, extensions, and airbrush makeup, Selda is passionate about creating beauty in all its forms.

Michelle has been working in the hair industry since 2014 doing everything BUT hair! As our front desk, Michelle will be your first hello and last goodbye. She has earned a degree in Journalism and Theater from Hunter College, diving at opportunities to write and act in her free time, a creative and free spirit. Her favorite thing about working in a hair salon is being in a creative space that serves for inspiration in her daily living, and the multitude of personalities she meets on a daily basis.

With over a decade of experience in the health and beauty industry across both South and North America, she brings a globally inspired, well-rounded approach to her work. Born and raised in Colombia, Yesica trained in American cutting, styling, and sculpting techniques—allowing her to blend timeless artistry with modern trends. Her expertise includes cutting, coloring, highlighting, balayage, and keratin treatments for men, women, and children. Known for her open-minded and client-centered philosophy, Yesica approaches every appointment with care, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.

Born and raised in New York, Lexi’s passion for the industry began while assisting on the set of photo shoots in NYC. Upon graduating from Paul Mitchell the school, she went on to work for both Paul Mitchell and Aveda Salon before eventually opening her own salon in Florida & becoming an Educator for Davines. With 12 years of experience behind the chair, Lexi is a Masters of Balayage Certified stylist who specializes in Balayage hair color.

MASTER COLORIST/STYLIST
Jordan Inman has been a hairdresser since 2011 spending the first four years of his career teaching the basics at Eric Fisher Academy in Wichita Kansas where he focused on haircuts and upstyling. In 2015 he moved to Nyc and spent the next three years as an apprentice in Soho learning all about blowouts, balayage, how to work all of the various curls to mention a few. Jordan was promoted to stylist in 2018. During his career he has worked with celebrities, on set, fashion week, and has been flown to destination events. Jordan is specialized in all hair textures and in finding the right cut and color to match a client's lifestyles.

For the past two decades, she’s honed her expertise in New York City’s premier salons, specializing in color and precision cutting. Trained by Aveda’s top educators, Jasmine offers personalized, high-quality services including balayage, dimensional color, color corrections, base shifts, and fantasy shades—each tailored with artistry and passion that shines through in every result.

GISELE ALAGO

APPRENTICE
Gisele has always loved playing with makeup and hair since she was a little girl and experimented with hair color and cutting on herself and others! She graduated from Arrojo Cosmetology and shortly after joined the Vidov team. Born and raised in New York City, she enjoys exploring the boroughs in her off time and learning from all of the stylists, honing in on her skills and training to become a Jane of all trades in the future (you can be great in all the things)!

Misha is a barber originally from Ukraine who has been working professionally since 2016. His journey in the craft began much earlier, growing up in his father’s barbershop where, at just six years old, he swept floors and gave his very first haircut. That early start sparked a lifelong passion for barbering that has only deepened over the years. After recently moving to the USA, Misha brings nearly a decade of professional experience and a deep-rooted family tradition to every service. His approach blends precision with a genuine dedication to making each client look and feel their best.

ARIELLE PEREZ

MASTER STYLIST
Training under Vickie’s wing straight out of school, Arielle worked her way from lead assistant to a well trained color artiste, specializing in balayage and lived in color. Her belief that “the tiniest detail can make all the difference” allows her to give each client the service they envisioned and more. The salon is her home away from home where she can paint and create surrounded by a staff whom she considers family.
