When you think of smooth, voluminous hair, think of Jason! Jason started working in the hair industry in 2002 and attended Graham Webb Academy of Hair in Washington DC. He went to work immediately at Roche Salon after school, where he mastered Yuko Japanese hair straightening and passed his craft down to the assistants as a teacher. After becoming a lead stylist and expert in hair straightening at Inari Salon in DC and mastering the art of smoothing keratin treatments, he decided to follow his dream of becoming a fabulous hair stylist, leading him to New York City! Since then, he has continued honing his craft, continued hair smoothing treatments during the pandemic, and now calls Vidov West home.

Pamela’s always known that she wanted to be working behind the chair. After graduating from High School, it was without hesitation that she continued her education at American Beauty school and Christine Valmy Beauty School to further her talents. After beauty school, she worked at multiple salons, however, none had the resources needed to advance her career - up until she found Vidov West. She is now one of our most in demand blow out specialists! and now is in training. to be a stylist and continue her education learning cutting and color.

Jaelene’s love of arts came in various formats - art classes, music and even apprenticing at a tattoo shop. It was her 3rd year of college that she realized her passion was in the beauty business, It was while in beauty school that she was introduced to the Vidov West family and decided to further advance her career in the salon industry. Jaelene is a natural and we are so excited to watch her develop into a stylist.

Upon graduating Long Island Beauty School, Erika found her passion within hair cutting - specifically short haircuts, pixie’s and men’s haircuts. Erika is in training to become a mens hair cutting specialist. It is precision that makes her the happiest! In her spare time, she enjoys cultivating her love of fashion through sewing and keeping active by roller skating throughout the city.

A recent New York resident from a small town in Texas, Sophie is part of our front desk reception team and is no stranger to the hair industry. Sophie studies Film & Media Production at Marymount Manhattan College and loves all things creative, fast-paced, and expressive. When she’s not greeting friendly faces at Vidov West or studying for classes, Sophie enjoys producing her own short films, playing the piano, trying out new hair colors, and taking any chance she can to create something exciting.

Shane has over 21 years experience working at several salons with whom he considers of the most diverse, talented, passionate, and brilliant hairstylists in the business. Education, learning, growth & development are a very important part of what he does.  Shane has taken classes at; Vidal Sassoon, Bumble + Bumble (Bb®), and Nine Zero One Salon.  In addition, in 2019 Shane became a Licensed Barber.  Shane is known for establishing trusting and comfortable relationships with clients and co-workers. 

He is looking forward to being here in New York City and at Vidov West Salon!

During the pandemic, Sasha explored many new hobbies, and learning about hair was on top of the list! Training under our multitude of stylists, Sasha is consistently learning and being hands on, she hopes to continue her studies some day in beauty school. You will Find Sasha doing a little bit of everything while watching and learning. Our future superstar stylist!

Eva is learning under the Vidov method, she is a licensed cosmetologist who in her spare time loves the art of lash extensions. She excels in styling and hopes to gain enough experience to do color and precision haircutting. She is a sweet energy eager to learn.

Our newest addition to the salon family hails from sunny California!

Alison is a seasoned colorist who places a high value in consulting and listening to her clients’ needs. Specializing in balayage, highlights & lived-in color; easy maintenance for the client is something she takes great pride in. Her number one priority is always to make sure her client experience is superior and that she is delivering the best quality hair possible!

When she’s not brewing up the perfect formula, she enjoys working out and exploring all of the restaurants West Village has to offer!

She started working in the industry as a receptionist where she fell in love with the art of hairdressing. Graduated from Arrojo Cosmetology School.

Denisse loves to stay up to date with the newest trends, and learn the latest techniques to constantly evolve as a stylist.

Raised in South Florida, growing up he knew he had a flair for hair when he insisted on helping his mother do hers. He moved to Long Island in 2011, right after high school, and didn’t fail to bring the Floridian sunshine with him.

He moved to NYC to further his cosmetology career and pursue other artistic passions.

He has a strong interest in color and gets excited to give clients a fresh new look. Passionate about inclusivity and diversity he inspires to work with all hair types.

Around the salon, clients refer to him as “the one with the beautiful head of hair,” which they’re not wrong about. He is the self-proclaimed, King of Curls. He especially loves to work with curly-haired clients and is fantastic at giving a smooth frizz-free blowout.

Hass Moved to NYC in 2017 from the Middle East. Coming from a family in the fashion industry learning early on that he loved doing hair for runway shows and practicing on his sisters. He came to New York to make his dreams come to life. Graduating from Arrojo Cosmetology School and now in training under the Vidov method Hass is eager to learn and become our next super star stylist!

Emma was born into this industry. Her parents being master colorists, stylists, and salon owners, caused a flame to be ignited in her at a very young age. Growing up immersed in this field has given Emma major perspective on the craft, and resulted in her uncompromising strive for excellence. Emma is bubbly, energetic, and always up for a challenge. She has a deep love for creative color, hair painting, highlights, and cutting! Emma loves rock and roll, concerts, fashion, cooking, eating, and her two black kittens Carl and Ella!

Lisa’s fascination with hair came at a young age when she would accompany her mom to the hair salon. Each visit, she was wonderstruck by her mom’s transformation, and admired the talent and compassion of the stylist. When she turned 18, she enrolled in cosmetology school where her aptitude and passion for hairstyling blossomed.

In 2007, she began her career at Didi Salon in her hometown of Burlingame, California, just south of San Francisco. She devoted herself to ongoing education with Goldwell, Bumble + bumble, and Oribe to develop her skills as both a colorist and stylist. Five years into her career, Lisa moved to the east coast to fulfill her dream of living and working in New York City. Soon after arriving, she began working behind the chair in the West Village at Andreas Anastasis Salon. As she evolved and built her clientele, Lisa began celebrity styling, and in 2018 became a color educator for Goldwell at their Meatpacking Academy. She has been master colorist & stylist with Vidov West since early 2021.

Lisa finds inspiration from the things she loves most; fashion, music, and interior design. Her training with Bumble + bumble & Oribe developed her approach to mastering fundamental cutting techniques to create styles for every hair type and texture. As a Goldwell Master Colorist & Educator, she specializes in creating customized color for each client. From bright California blondes, vibrant and bold reds, sultry brunettes, and one of a kind trend colors, LJM's goal is to make each head of hair the showstopper in the room. Whether it's corrective color or grey blending, blunt bobs or modern shags, her objective is to create styles and colors that work in harmony and are cool and current, yet sophisticated and timeless. Her objective each day is to not only create beautiful hair, but make real connections with each person that sits in her chair.

Small town girl from Wisconsin comes to the Big Apple. Callie is that perfect example. Working with Vickie Callie has grown into an amazing Stylist with the biggest heart. Taking on all of what NYC has to offer. Her passion for the arts is no surprise. Coming from generations of artists. It's the quiet ones that surprise you. Specializing in Highlights, cutting, Smoothing treatments and a great blow out! Loves being active and watching sports.

If you think, talk of amazing food, laughter, and family goes with amazing hair, Arielle is the one to see! Training under Vickie’s wing straight out of school, Arielle worked her way from Lead Assistant to a well trained color artiste, specializing in balayage blondes. A jack of all trades, you can usually find her working on our original flower arrangements or being our handyman in between clients! Her belief that “the tiniest detail can make all the difference” allows her to give each client the service they envisioned and more. Vidov is her home away from home where she can paint and create surrounded by a staff she considers family.

Gina started working at Vidov Salon as an assistant and has grown to a well-developed extension specialist, actively doing production work for TV and film. Learning and loving the process of meeting new people and making each of her clients feel amazing, Gina is always teaching the new assistants, and pumping out hair smoothings and straightenings. An active part of Vidov, Gina is detail-oriented crafting fun cocktails for our clients while showering them with loving attention. An artist when it comes to hair extensions, Gina is well known for her craft in color blending extensions to a client's real hair. Her hyper-focus on color and cut has afforded her the title of Senior Great Lengths extension specialist. Starting her career under the Vidov Method at the age of 20, Gina has a flair for the creative and the bold.

An accomplished Senior Stylist since 2008 and the most outdoors-y one of us all. Sarah loves to spend her weekends camping, hiking and introducing her dogs to beautiful scenery. Originally from Kentucky, Sarah moved to New York to further pursue her passion in the industry and has not only brought an accent to remember to Vidov Salon, but her abilities to make any head of hair look like it’s out of a magazine. In addition to her expertise as a colorist and stylist, she is licensed in Great Lengths hair extensions, Matrix Opti Smooth and Goldwell Kerasilk services.

Sarah places high value on building relationships with her clients, understanding how to best meet their needs. If you book an appointment with Sarah, you will most likely enjoy a conversation about animals, travel, possibly local sports and a few of her interests outside of the salon.

Originally from Missouri, Bradley moved to New York CIty in 2002 furthering his career in Cosmetology. He is our in-house scientist and our go-to for understanding formulations, he doesn't do anything until he masters it with training. Bradley trains our new Doves with the understanding of the rules of color and extension application.

His passion to deliver top quality service to every client that sits in his chair has also led him to work with many celebrity clients for film, television & theatre. He is responsible for many celeb extensions you see every day.

His hair cutting skills led him to be a brand ambassador for the prestigious shear company Shark Fin Shears, has been certified in Great Lengths hair extension since 2010, as well as a certified specialist for our color line Goldwell.

Bradley is known for his vivacious personality (be nice or he may salt your coffee) and meticulous flair, or as his clients would say-

Stephanie joined the Vidov family in 2013 as Salon Manager and instantly became the heart and soul of the team! Her passion for the beauty industry stemmed from her previous experience as Salon Manager at Frederic Fekkai, along with her degree in the Hospitality field. Stephanie curates a VIP experience for clients through effectively managing all behind the scenes operations and regularly schedules workshops for stylists to promote continuous development. As a master multi-tasker and working mom, she defines the term #girlboss!

Michelle has been working in the hair industry since 2014 doing everything BUT hair! Our front desk coordinator, Michelle will be your first hello and last goodbye. She has earned a degree in Journalism and Theater from Hunter College, diving at opportunities to write and create short films in her free time. Her favorite thing about working in a hair salon is being in a creative space that serves for inspiration in her daily living, and the multitude of personalities she meets on a daily basis.

The pioneer for doing what makes you happy. Olga came to America from the Ukraine with the "American Dream" In mind. Having degrees in different areas. She quickly learned that her passion for doing hair was something she couldn't deny. Upon exploring NYC different neighborhoods she stumbled upon the West Village and instantly felt at home.

Opening her first salon on Hudson street in 1983. 3 chairs and 3 Russian ladies, it wasn't long before everyone knew about them. Raising 3 girls on her own she is looked up to and admired by many. Now, Opening this new Dream location with her eldest Daughter Vickie. They share the dream and passion of this Industry and bring you the go to Salon in the West Village.

Born into the beauty industry Vickie is no stranger to the hair game. Her passion for making people look and feel good is what drives her everyday. Mentoring is a passion that has driven vickie to teach and grow her own "Doves". Walking into the new location back in the West Village where it all started. You will feel the love, passion, and loyalty Her team emanates. Vickie's dedication to healthy hair is a part of everyone's experience "Healthy hair starts from a healthy scalp". Each stylist is taught the theory behind healthy hair and scalp. Because healthy hair is our goal. We love hair and want you to love yours!

Vickie is nationally published celebrity hair stylist, She has been a consistent go-to for film production, helping to create the character for many TV shows and Movies. Lover of all colors, She is known for some famous Redheads!
